Privacy Policy for My Files - Organizer

Privacy Policy for My Files - Organizer

Effective Date: April 28, 2026

My Files - Organizer ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our application.

By installing and using My Files - Organizer, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

1. Data Collection and Usage
My Files - Organizer is designed as a secure, offline utility tool. We strictly adhere to a local-only data processing model.

No Data Collection: We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal information, photos, videos, documents, or files.

No Cloud Uploads: The App does not upload your files or personal data to any external servers, cloud storage, or third-party databases. All file management and processing happen entirely on your local device.

2. Explanation of Required Permissions
To provide its core functionality as a file manager, the App requires specific Android permissions. We use these permissions solely to operate the App on your device:

All Files Access (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): * Why we need it: As a comprehensive file manager, the core purpose of the App is to allow you to browse, move, copy, rename, delete, and organize files across your device's internal storage.

How it is used: This permission is strictly used to display and manage the files on your device. None of your files or storage data is ever accessed for data harvesting, nor is it transmitted off your device.

Query All Packages (QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES):

Why we need it: The App includes a feature to help you categorize and manage the applications installed on your device.

How it is used: We request this permission solely to read the list of installed applications so we can display them within the "Apps" section of our interface for you to manage. The inventory of your installed apps is never shared, tracked, or transmitted outside your device.

Request Install Packages (REQUEST_INSTALL_PACKAGES):

Why we need it: The App allows you to browse and manage Android package files (.apk) stored on your device.

How it is used: This permission is required so that you can initiate the installation of an APK file directly from the file manager. The App will never download, install, or update applications in the background without your explicit, manual action.

Network Permissions (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, ACCESS_WIFI_STATE):

Why we need it: These standard permissions are used for basic app functionality and internal processes (such as rendering UI elements with certain libraries).

How it is used: These permissions are not used to transmit your personal files or data over the internet.

3. Third-Party Services and SDKs
My Files - Organizer is built using standard Android development libraries to ensure a smooth and secure user experience.

No Tracking or Analytics: The App does not integrate any third-party crash reporting, analytics, or data-tracking SDKs.

No Advertisements: The App does not currently contain any third-party advertising SDKs (such as AdMob or Facebook Ads).

4. Data Security
Because My Files - Organizer operates completely offline, your data remains secured by your device's native operating system security. We do not maintain servers or databases containing your information, eliminating the risk of external data breaches from our end.

5. Children's Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. Since the App does not collect personal data, no data from children is transmitted or stored by us.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
